Hello there, and welcome to Quiet Side Photography.

I'm Kate, the face behind the lens.

I am so excited to share my journey with you.

I have always had a love for photography and I usually could be found with my camera in hand. I would say that I began to get more serious pursuing photography in 2011 and it sky rocketed after the birth of my first child in 2012.

Once I settled into motherhood and started to get a little bit more sleep, I decided my hobby turned into a passion and I wanted to share that passion with others. And in 2015, Quiet Side Photography was born.

As I watch my children growing rapidly before my eyes, I realize more and more how precious time is. They are only this small for such a brief moment in time and then it's gone. But being able to capture that moment in a photograph, I can cherish those moments for a lifetime. I truly feel that this is my journey in life. And I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their love and support as I travel down this path.

 

Quiet Side Photography specializes in simple, organic and timeless maternity, newborn, family and child portraiture in Loudoun County and throughout Northern Virginia. Including the cities of Purcellville, Round Hill, Ashburn, Leesburg, Hamilton, Berryville, Winchester, and Washington DC.
